The C Retractors is a solid one-piece instrument, so its performance comes from blade geometry and handle ergonomics. The working blade is specified as 22 mm wide blade built with an angled layout, which spreads retraction force over a wider contact area and reduces point pressure on tissue. The handle is heavy-duty ergonomic handle contoured for sustained counter-traction leverage, giving a secure, fatigue-resistant grip through long exposures. An overall length of 12 ½″ ($69.00) and 14″ ($74.00) keeps the surgeon's hand clear of the operative field. It is made from surgical-grade stainless steel (aisi 304/420) for glare-free, corrosion-resistant service.

C Retractors are used in hip and pelvic surgery to hook over bone edges and lever thick soft-tissue envelopes and musculature away from the operative site, exposing the bone for reaming and component placement.

They are indicated for Total Hip Arthroplasty (THA), revision hip reconstruction, pelvic osteotomy, acetabular fracture repair, and proximal femoral osteotomies.
