The Caspar Retractor is a solid one-piece instrument, so its performance comes from blade geometry and handle ergonomics. The working blade is specified as 17.0 mm wide × 67.0 mm long right-angled blade, which spreads retraction force over a wider contact area and reduces point pressure on tissue. The handle is ergonomic finger ring handle engineered for enhanced manual leverage and reduced fatigue, giving a secure, fatigue-resistant grip through long exposures. An overall length of 21 cm (approx. 8.25 inches) keeps the surgeon's hand clear of the operative field. It is made from surgical-grade stainless steel (aisi 304/410) for glare-free, corrosion-resistant service.
