The Obwegeser Soft Tissue Retractor is a solid one-piece instrument, so its performance comes from blade geometry and handle ergonomics. The working blade is specified as Contoured blade with curved upward/downward protective channel lip, which spreads retraction force over a wider contact area and reduces point pressure on tissue. The handle is ergonomic contoured handle with wide thumb-rest, giving a secure, fatigue-resistant grip through long exposures. An overall length of 8 ¾″ (22.2 cm) keeps the surgeon's hand clear of the operative field. It is made from surgical-grade stainless steel (aisi 304/410) for glare-free, corrosion-resistant service.
