The Piriform Rim Retractor is a solid one-piece instrument, so its performance comes from blade geometry and handle ergonomics. The working blade is specified as Anatomically curved hooking beak contoured to seat over the piriform aperture rim, which spreads retraction force over a wider contact area and reduces point pressure on tissue. The handle is ergonomic flat handle with lateral serrations for tactile grip stability, giving a secure, fatigue-resistant grip through long exposures. An overall length of 17 cm (approx. 6.7 inches) keeps the surgeon's hand clear of the operative field. It is made from premium operating room-grade german stainless steel (aisi 304/420) for glare-free, corrosion-resistant service.

The Piriform Rim Retractor is used in maxillofacial and rhinoplasty procedures to hook over the piriform aperture rim, retracting the upper lip, cheek, and periosteum to expose the maxilla for osteotomies.
