The Bennett Tibia Retractor is a solid one-piece instrument, so its performance comes from blade geometry and handle ergonomics. The working blade is specified as 45 mm (Small) and 63 mm (Large), which spreads retraction force over a wider contact area and reduces point pressure on tissue. The handle is ergonomic contoured handle engineered for heavy counter-traction leverage, giving a secure, fatigue-resistant grip through long exposures. An overall length of 9 ½″ to 9 ¾″ (including standard 9 ¼″ production runs) keeps the surgeon's hand clear of the operative field. It is made from surgical-grade stainless steel (aisi 304/420) for glare-free, corrosion-resistant service.

The Bennett Tibia Retractor is used in orthopedic surgery to lever heavy soft tissue, patellar tendon, and anterior compartment musculature away from the proximal and diaphyseal tibia, maintaining clear bone visibility.
