The Campbell Nerve Root Retractor is a solid one-piece instrument, so its performance comes from blade geometry and handle ergonomics. The working blade is specified as 10 mm – 10.5 mm wide blade profile for uniform pressure distribution, which spreads retraction force over a wider contact area and reduces point pressure on tissue. The handle is ergonomic flat handle with lateral serrations for tactile stability, giving a secure, fatigue-resistant grip through long exposures. An overall length of 8 ¾″ (22.2 cm) keeps the surgeon's hand clear of the operative field. It is made from surgical-grade stainless steel (aisi 304/420) for glare-free, corrosion-resistant service.
