The PCL Retractor is a solid one-piece instrument, so its performance comes from blade geometry and handle ergonomics. The working blade is specified as 21 mm wide tips, which spreads retraction force over a wider contact area and reduces point pressure on tissue. The handle is heavy-duty ergonomic flat handle designed for sustained leverage counter-traction, giving a secure, fatigue-resistant grip through long exposures. An overall length of 25 cm (10 inches) keeps the surgeon's hand clear of the operative field. It is made from premium operating room-grade german stainless steel (aisi 304/420) for glare-free, corrosion-resistant service.

The PCL Retractor is used in total knee replacement surgery to seat behind the posterior tibial plateau, levering the tibia anteriorly and shielding the popliteal artery and nerves during tibial bone cuts.

It is indicated for primary Total Knee Arthroplasty (TKA), posterior-stabilized knee reconstruction, cruciate-retaining knee replacement, revision knee surgery, and tibial plateau osteotomies.
